Welcome to your Remote Patagonian Home

We are offering a limited number of land ownership or lease opportunities with the intention of inviting qualified folk to share in the spectacular and safe lands detailed below. Experience living in remote, relatively pristine nature while enjoying its pleasures and securities far from the dangerous plagues and inanities which are increasingly imposing their fears and freedom restrictions elsewhere.

Affordable Homesteads

Ten Acre Farmettes

Currently Under Lease

Patagonia Land Havens features unique and affordable lifestyle offerings in the remote

and outstanding Argentine northern Patagonia. Enjoy cruising through our various offerings

which include part ownership in an estancia of 36,000 acres (ESTANCIA TRANQUILON) and

two ten-acre farmettes (EL HUECU CHACRAS) next to our country pueblo/town.

The part ownership offering (ESTANCIA TRANQUILON) is a 10-15 member de facto community of

like minded homesteaders.   Membership is gained through the purchase of one hectaria of land

with homestead development rights – affordably priced and saving all the hassles

of land purchase; surveys, legal, governmental and taxes.

Argentina

Argentina is a superb place to live, and our area presents outstanding scenery and value. We have four seasons with summer days of endless sun and winter that sees some snow that rarely lingers. Government is minimal and largely noninvasive. Labor and food are inexpensive, and generally of high quality. Just the fact that our Malbec wines are world best and can be purchased for $2.50, to accompany our outstanding beef, is a reason to live here.

Estancia Ranquilco

We are a family owned 100,000 acre traditional livestock estancia combined with a six month guest program, to share with a fortunate few, our riding, fly fishing and pack tripping adventures.

El Huecu

Our pueblo, El Huecu, provides a number of food markets and services including a gas station, hospital, bank, hardware store, and pharmacy.  The population is around 1,500 and there are often more horses in town than automobiles. From El Huecu there is a partially paved road to Zapala (map)  where most everything is available.  Drive another two hours to the provincial capital, Neuquen (map), offering daily flights to Buenos Aires. San Martin, a charming little ski and summer sport town, is a five-hour drive away on paved, and mostly empty, roads through the Andes foothills.
